New Website
This is a new website being developed by David Hensen ‘70 and Michael Rocchio ‘70. This site is designed for all McCluer High School Alumni. McCluer High School is located in the Ferguson/Florissant school district in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a very connected and interactive site. Audio/Video Chat room called “The Trees”. A fun new room called the “Stall Wall” complete with comment bar and graffiti. A feature called the “Memory Zone” where alumni can post their favorite memories from their school days. A forum called “You did What? to get in trouble” a fun little walk back in time where alumni can post their experiences with the principals office. The site is totally free for all to enjoy.
It boasts an easy to complete sign up form which automatically posts the alumnus’ data to a central database. That database is viewable by all site visitors. The site also offers a subscription to an RSS feed. This makes staying up with alumni business a breeze. The website URL is mccluer high school
If you’re a McCluer High Alumni…by all means stop by and sign up!
We have also included a lot of fun videos and audio clips from back in the day. Site members are encouraged to send old photos which will be placed in the site gallery. Members can also submit their own videos relevant to the Mccluer alumni site. There is lots of info on all the different grad classes from 1965 to the present. A new AV room is under construction which will allow members to listen to songs specific to their grad year as well as watch videos from the same era. We are also in the process of building a “Gone But Not Forgotten” page where alumni will be able to post pics and memories of departed classmates. A new feature on the site is “Bands from back in the day” On this page you will find photos and information on the garage bands and local bands that were popular back during our school days. We also include a list of bands active today that are made up of of McCluer alumni.
The whole idea on the site is to help alumni connect and reconnect with their past. A lot of effort has gone into developing a site that is easy to navigate and free. We welcome any input that fellow alumni may have regarding the sites overall design and functionality. We are constantly making improvements in our relentless effort to connect our alumni. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact either myself or Michael. Our email addys are located on the main page bottom next to our pictures.
Thanks! Enjoy the new site!
Best of Luck!
